Sponsorship

On receipt of your registration form you will be sent a personalised sponsor form. Your specially designed Summer Solstice walk t-shirt and further information will be sent in early June. On the evening you will receive a goodie bag, a medal on completion and a well deserved breakfast.

Whether you are walking in memory of a loved one or just for fun we ask if would raise a minimum of £10 sponsorship (there is no maximum amount) although we do respectfully ask you to raise as much as possible. You could approach your employers and ask them to match fund your efforts thus maximising your sponsorship opportunities.

The operational costs of the Hospice this year alone is £1.6M and with just a small % of that coming from funding from the NHS means that we rely heavily on voluntary support. That is why your support is so important to us.

Your sponsorship will provide the following:

£300 will pay for an in-patient bed for a day

£200 will pay for a day therapy patient to have complementary therapies etc

£172 will provide for a physiotherapist for a day.

£199 will enable a patient to be treated in their own home.

So as you can see your help really will make a difference.
