Conditions of Entry
- You MUST register to
take part – It will not be possible
to register on the night.
To register, each person must complete the official registration form; one form must be completed for each walker. If you wish to walk with friends, the best way to secure a place is to send your entries in together.
- Registration will close as soon as 1500 entrants have been received or at 30th May 2008, whichever is reached earliest.
- All walkers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult who must be registered as a walker also.
- If you are unable to walk, please let us know as soon as possible. Although the registration fee is non-refundable, if you know someone who wishes to walk in your place, your place can be allocated to your contact via the Fundraising office. The new walker must also complete a registration form.
- The Summer Solstice Walk is not a race and walkers are not allowed to run or jog. You may power walk, but no walker must pass the nominated lead walkers.
- You are not permitted to use any of the sponsorship money you raise to pay for your expenses. All sponsorship monies given to you must be passed directly to East Lancashire Hospice. We ask all walkers to raise a minimum of £10.00 sponsorship.
